Organize table tennis and foosball tournaments at the office

In the first quarter of 2023, Tokyo Tech Lab organized the Bilac – Pingpong 2023 combined tournament.

After hours of hard work in front of the computer screen, the entertainment area with sports is always the busiest gathering area in TTLab.

TTLab’s annual Bilac – Table Tennis Tournament has always fulfilled its mission of "Cohesion – Entertainment – Attractive Prize".

Any sport has certain benefits and is geared towards the general purpose of  health promotion, entertainment, and enhancing team spirit.

Table tennis is a popular sport around the world today. Also known as ping-pong, a sport in which two or four players participate in hitting a light ball (ping pong ball) back and forth on a table with a small racket. The sport is run by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). By 1988, table tennis officially became a competition in the Olympics.

The table tennis tournament at Tokyo Tech Lab is held as a fighting doubles team, the players of the teams are arranged with equal capacities.

Table football, also known as bilac or table soccer, is a table-top game that is loosely based on association football. The aim of the game is to move the ball into the opponent's goal by manipulating rods which have figures attached. Although rules often vary by country and region when the game is played casually, at the competitive level table soccer is played according to a unified code.

Just like ping-pong, table tennis pairs will also participate in bilac competition because this is a combined tournament for both sports.

After the group stage matches, the organizers have identified the strongest teams with the most skillful skills to advance to the final match.

At the end of the tournament, TTLab honored the outstanding faces in the Bilac - Pingpong 2023 tournament. In addition, we also have consolation prizes to encourage the spirit of our players.
